Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten have worked together in their joint search for new dance forms since 1995. Their Dance company Emio Greco | PC has developed organically into the International Choreographic Arts Centre Amsterdam (ICKamsterdam), a platform for contemporary dance where national and international choreographers and artists are invited to collaborate. The aim is to inspire, to shape and to renew one another. With its spearheads of creation and conservation; talent development and knowledge transfer; reflection and research, innovation and alliance, ICKamsterdam pursues the continuous development and enrichment of dance.

ICKamsterdam is supported by the Performing Arts Fund NL (FPK) and the municipality of Amsterdam.

International: 

Over the years ICKamsterdam has built up an extensive international network of artists and researchers, with whom it has collaborated to develop various kinds of artistic, educational and research projects. With dance company Emio Greco | PC it has received numerous national and international awards amongst others the Phillip Morris Arts Prize, the Herald Angel Award, the Sonia Gaskell Prize, the Premio Danza & Danza, the Time Out Live Award, the Meilleur spectacle de danse and the VSCD Zwaan [Swan]. ICKamsterdam enjoys strong international recognition and tours extensively to international festivals and performing arts venues. The work has been shown in over 30 countries all around the world.
